Small Groups Make Everything Possible:

Jesus, himself, started with a small group of 12. He formed this small group so he can love and teach them. He poured himself into relationships with his disciples, setting an example that continued throughout the years. Small groups are the cement for the larger church, forming a refuge for your local community.
The Three Pillars of effective groups are: teachability; transparency; and confidentiality.
Leaders of small groups should let holy text guide their conclusions. Members should be open to God and to one another. They should also be open to receive counsel from administrators who help shepherd God's flock.
Group members should be open to sharing real-life battles to get the support they need.
Confidentiality provides members with a safe environment. This aspect is very important to protect sensitive information from leaking out. Group leaders should understand the commitment each member makes when they share--what seems to them--monumental burdens that have conquered them. Sharing requires trusting.
