Does your flock need something your sermons aren’t providing? Even sheep are allowed to browse for nutrients they aren’t getting in their pen. Some small groups of your flock may be dealing with private and painful issues that could not, and should not, be covered at Sunday Service.

     Some publishers are businesses and some are ministries. Some books and book clubs are well received by teens, some books and book clubs are well received by married women, but when you have five or more members who are suffering quietly, it’s time to assign a qualified group leader and let them feed deeply on a book that speaks to their unique problem.

     Invite the author to join your discussion group via Zoom/FaceTime when possible. Let life’s answers branch out in all directions. These broken members will come back to the Sunday Meeting with fewer problems and hungry for holy text.
